Silo Website Design Module for aLinks
Silo Website Design module is a modified version of the Deeper-Blog module for aLinks, a great plugin for Wordpress. If you are using aLinks and your website is built according to the Silo Website Design, this version is what you need. The normal version of this module links wherever finds the keywords in any post or page, what I have done is, modified the function so now recognizes the category of the post he is in and only creates links to posts in that category, this is done to comply with the Silo concept of linking, if you don’t know what Silo Website Design is, you can find more information at this post here
aLinks is a very good plugin and if you are not using it you are missing something very useful for your blog, for more information about the plugin I suggest you go and visit the plugin page here.
The module is very easy to install, once you have aLinks installed just put the downloaded folder in the modules folder of aLinks and that’s it, go to admin and enter the keywords you want to create links for, and enjoy.

I downloaded and installed the module and it seemd to work fine, but…
I am unable to figure out how to exactly implement and use the module on my website.

if you know how to use aLinks, using this plugin is very simple.
If you don’t I suggest you have a look at aLinks first.
The silo module once activated you go to the keywords menu in aLinks and enter the keywords you want to create links for and the rest is automatic, Silo Module will only link to post in the same category, this is to retain the links within the same category.
Have a look at aLinks first, and familiarise with it and then come back here and fill free to post any problem you might have, and you might also find an upgrade which I am working on at the moment, to make it compatible with wordpress 2.3,
it’s nearly ready should be posted either tomorrow or the day after.
